Peptide R Lab reading list
The metabolism paper, the delivery experiments and the larger protein’s research record.
Metabolism and delivery: starting points
For residence time, start with BPC-157 pharmacokinetics in rats and dogs. For a practical response to peptide breakdown, try KPV’s targeted nanoparticle and hydrogel delivery experiment in mice. These papers pull in different directions. I enjoy that tension: one measures exposure, the other changes delivery.
The BPC-157 review puts the small human record in context. The thymosin beta-4 Phase 1 trial concerns healthy volunteers and the full-length protein. The actin-binding structure used a protein hybrid. These distinctions matter before comparing any of them with the short TB-500 fragment.
